Crisis Management
Almost every crisis contains within itself the seeds of success as well as the roots of failure. Finding, cultivating, and harvesting that potential success is the essence of crisis management. The essence of mismanagement is the propensity to take a bad situation and make it worse.
There are four requirements for a successful turnaround
- Is there a core business worth saving?
- Does the company possess the human resources to accomplish a turnaround?
- Does the company have the capital or access to capital necessary to do the turnaround?
- Does Management accept the need for change?
Revisit what the company stands for, what are the principles on which to base decisions: honesty, integrity, trust, respect.
