Bix Benson

Bix has more than 30 years experience in investment banking commercial banking, business law and litigation. He has been engaged in the active private practice of law, specializing in business law, administrative law and civil litigation. Bix has also held several management positions at the National Bank of Detroit, First Chicago NBD, and Bank One. He has been involved with national banking, middle market banking and workouts. Bix serves on the Board of Directors of New Era Ohio, LLC., is Chairman of the Board for Bowmar, LLC and Medical Informatics Engineering, Inc. and Bix received his BA degree from the University of Michigan, his J.D. degree from the University of Maryland and his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. Bix has held many community leadership positions including membership on the Canterbury School Board of Trustees, the Arts United Board of Directors, the Allen County Courthouse Preservation Committee Board of Directors, the Principle Centered Community Initiative Steering Committee and Rotary Club president.
